R.I.P. Baba! You will be sorely missed :'(

Life is too short to waste on people who don't care for you. There are very few people in world who care for me as much as you did.I still remember when I was small and visit you in the village you used to bike around 10 kilometers to get me my favorite foods.I remember the way you used to tell people at home to cook what I liked :)! You used to always sit in the hut shaped tent in front of the home and you used to be the first person I used to see whenever we used to visit the village.I will miss the genuine smile you used to have on your face on seeing us.
When my mom wasn't with me you came and stayed over with me for 2 months and yet I never thanked you for that.I never knew when I saw you 3 years back that that would be the last time I would get to see you.I wish I could have met you when I came home last year :'(
I used to always look upto you and have a feeling that there is someone elder right up there to take care of the entire family. You were always there. It's hard to believe that you are not there anymore, makes me feel so empty! You were very simple, polite, positive, reserved, calm and a sweet person who used to crack jokes and tell me stories when I was little.I never saw you interfering in someone else's life nor I saw you in extreme anger. When I grew older you used to ask me the news of everyone's life whenever I used to meet you. You used to be very positive and appreciative of the "news" which I used to give you.I will miss those conversations and most importantly the light hearted atmosphere surrounding your presence.
As a tribute to you, I promise to deliver on the statement you made about me in my diary,"Putr ko pita se aage badhna hai".It's not going to be easy with dad setting the bar so high but I will give it all,I can assure you that.I also promise to work harder and fulfill my dreams before it becomes too late.
I don't know what else to say, except for "I WILL MISS YOU"; I wish I could have seen you for one last time, the visits to the village will never be the same and not seeing you there will make it more empty. Rest In Peace, Baba. May your blessings be with us always.
